Equipment matched to the site
We consider the actual ground, reach and glazing before choosing a method.
Two-storey raked glass, atriums, steep blocks, narrow side passages and multi-level facades all need an access plan. Tony's Squeegee checks the site first, then recommends a suitable way to clean the glazing.
Access comes first.
Water-fed pole window cleaning, reach-and-wash systems and close-range work each suit different conditions. We’ll inspect the glazing and the approach before confirming what can be done.
Purified water travels through an extended pole to a brush at the glass. This can suit upper-level exterior panes when the cleaner has stable ground access and a clear working position.
A controlled pole-based approach can help reach mid-level glazing and awkward angles without placing a ladder against the building. The access route and working space still need to be suitable.
An elevated work platform may be considered where the height and scope justify that setup. It depends on a site-specific assessment, suitable ground, access for the equipment and the requirements of the job.
Where safe access is available, squeegee work can suit internal glass, ground-level panes and reachable sections of a larger job. Different parts of the same property may need different methods.
A photo can help explain the job, but it won’t show every access constraint. An on-site review lets us check the route, the working position and the glass itself.
We look at slopes, surface stability, soft ground, steps and overhead hazards. These details affect whether a pole, ladder or platform can be used safely.
Planting, air-conditioning units, awnings, parked vehicles and narrow side access can change the working position or limit reach.
Glazing height, pane size and frame type help determine how much reach is needed and whether a pole or platform is suitable for the work.
We’ll explain which sections can be reached safely and what method may suit them. If access isn’t safe, we’ll say so before you book.
Tell us what the windows sit above, beside or behind. Those details help us decide what needs a closer look.
Raked windows, double-height living areas and glazing on steep blocks.
Narrow side access can restrict where equipment fits.Multi-level frontages, atriums and entry glass above ground-floor level.
Pedestrian movement may need to be considered.Shared stairwells, facade panes and balcony glass above communal areas.
Shared access and resident arrangements affect the plan.Large-format windows, glazed office fronts and high signage surrounds.
Vehicle movements and operating hours can shape access. The site sets the boundaries. We choose tools for the conditions in front of us, not by default.
We consider the actual ground, reach and glazing before choosing a method.
Hoses, working areas and nearby vehicles, planting and paving are part of the plan.
We confirm the scope with the owner, manager or site representative before starting.
Describe the glazing, its height, the ground around it and any access restrictions you already know about. Tony's Squeegee can then arrange a site-specific review across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and surrounding areas.
Start with the details.
Call and explain which windows need reaching. For a written enquiry, include the property location and any known site constraints.
